The Iceberg is a popular, hardy rose bush from the Floribunda family that is commonly found in gardens in New Zealand (including mine), and worldwide. The original white Iceberg rose was bred by a cultivar in Germany, Kordes, in 1958 and is disease resistant and produces copious medium-sized, lightly double, pure white roses. The Iceberg has many favourable qualities and has been used extensively by cultivars to breed other colours of Iceberg roses as well as other hybrid varieties.
